Ines and her boyfriend have an agonistic argument while traveling on a long-distance bus. They are going to “Mar de las Pampas” out of season, a holiday resort where they have planned to spend a short holiday.
The bus stops. Ines gets off the bus carrying her heavy bag across her shoulder, she then realizes her boyfriend has not followed her. The bus leaves. She remains alone on the open road.
Ines wanders through the woods, learns archery and meets kind strangers that become ephemeral friends. She cries.
Meanwhile, she tries to gain back the man she loves (whom she accuses of being an inconsistent coward) in repeated and desperate phone calls.
With her swollen eyes and unstable stomach, Ines decides to stay and enjoy the romantic holiday, on her own
